Maryse L Postlewaite has traveled internationally to share her skills from her experiences with mentoring teachers, leading workshops, and teaching at the elementary level.

Maryse has been a Montessori educator since 1979 when she trained in Bergamo, Italy. She has over 35 years of classroom experience. She is currently an AMI Elementary Consultant. In the early 1980’s, Maryse trained with Children’s Creative Response to Conflict (CCRC). Many additional trainings include Positive Discipline, Kidpower, Mindfulness, Nonviolent Communication, and Cultivating Authentic Communication. She is an active board member of Kidpower and the Montessori Global Growth Fund.
Maryse has implemented many strategies in her own classroom. She has led workshops in both public and private school settings. She has been a presenter at numerous national and international conferences, highlighting classroom management, bias awareness, perspective shifts, communication skills, team building, and conflict resolution tools. Since leaving classroom, she has designed and led interactive workshops. In her spare time, Maryse enjoys gardening and sailing.
